The Samsung Galaxy S3 has been out for a few months now and users have been experiencing problems with Samsung’s flagship smartphone. Here we have some problems that have been noted by users of the Galaxy S3 with the solutions to the problems.
Problem:
The main problem with smartphones has been the battery life. Users have noticed a huge drop in battery percentage with battery life not even lasting up to a day.
Solution:
The first solution to this is to reduced or turn off features that you don’t use very often such as Wi-Fi, reduce brightness, turn off some of the motion features etc.
The next solution is to go into your settings, head over to the Wi-Fi and select Advanced. You should then see some text that reads “Connect to Wi-Fi while asleep” and change the option to Never.
Another solution you can try is to download the app the ‘EASY BATTERY SAVER.’ The shuts off data and Wi-Fi while your phone is sleeping and turns on every 15 minutes for 30 seconds (adjustable) to sync any accounts/emails if needed.
Problem:
Another problem includes users experiencing a microphone issue which causes users to be unable to hear the person on the other end of the line. After hanging up the phone the signal would drop and would disappear for a few minutes.
Solution:
The first thing to do is to update the phone by connecting to a Wi-Fi network, going into ‘settings’ then ‘About Device’ then ‘Software Update’ and tapping ‘Update’ if there is one available.
If that does not work then you will have to restore the phone to its original settings by going in to ‘Settings’, then ‘Back Up and Reset’, then ‘Factory Data Reset’ and then ‘Reset Device’ and ‘Erase Everything’.
