In a video last week Nokia teased a video in which a woman was shown riding a bike down a street, with a text overlay that comes up midway through the clip which reads, “Things are about to change.”

Recently, leaks came in from @evleaks on Twitter about the new Nokia’s Lumia phones, the 820 and the 920 before the upcoming September 5th unveiling at the New York City press event. Now, more leaks have come in about the new Windows Phone 8 devices.

The new image show how the new Lumia phones will support wireless charging. The Lumia 820 and the Lumia 920 will use inductive charging in which contacts on the device will line up with contacts on a charging pad.

For those who want to know more about inductive or wireless charging here’s a bit more information.

Wireless charging basically involves a charging pad or station where an electromagnetic field is used to transfer energy between two objects. When the device is placed on the charging pad, the contact points on the device come into contact with the contact surface on the charging pad, a small current moves through the coils of the charging pad creating a small magnetic field. The energy gathered is then transferred to the devices battery as efficiently as if the device were connected to a wall socket with its regular wired adapter.

Expect announcement of the new Lumia on the 5th of September with the release of the products in mid-October.
