A countless number of devices are on display at the IFA in Berlin. Here’s a quick summary of what we’ve seen so far on the IFA showroom floor.
ZTE Grand X IN
The first ever smartphone powered by an Intel chip from ZTE. The ZTE Grand X IN runs on a single-core CPU called the Atom Z2460, which comes with 1GB of RAM. The ZTE has a 4.3-inch LCD display and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It also comes with a rear 8MP camera and a front 0.3MO camera. It has an internal storage of 16GB which is expandable up to 32GB via micro SD. The whole smartphone is made out of plastic and feels nice to touch with a grippy pattern on the back panel which helps for securely holding the phone in your hand.
Acer
Acer has released 3 news products, two smartphones and a tablet.
Acer Liquid Gallant
The Liquid Gallant is a slightly underpowered, mid-range handset that comes with a 1GHz single-core processor with 1GB of RAM, 4GB internal storage. It comes with a 4.3-inch HD capacitive touchscreen and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Acer Cloud Mobile
The Acer Cloud Mobile was revealed back in February but know we’ve seen it in action. The Acer Cloud Mobile runs on a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and features a 4.3-inch 720p display and an 8MP rear camera.
Acer Iconia Tab A700
The final Acer product, the Acer Iconia Tab A700 slate is based on the NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor which features a 10.1-inch Full HD display.
HTC Desire X
The beautiful Desire X is finally here. It comes with a 4-inch Super LCD with 5-MP camera on the back. It features a dual-core 1GHz processor and it runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich and has Sense 4.1.
HP Envy X2
The new HP Envy 2 slate features an 11.6-inch IPS touchscreen with 1366x768px resolution not to mention it comes with a keyboard dock. It’s powered by Intel’s Clover Trial processor and comes with and 8MP camera and 64GB internal memory. It also packs 2 USB ports, a HDMI TV-out and an SD slot.
Archos 101 XS
The Archos 101 XS comes with a 10.1-inch display with a 1280×800 resolution and is powered by the TI OMAP 4470 chipset. The tablet features a dual-core CPU and will run on Jelly Bean at the end of the year. It has an internal storage of 16GB that is expandable up to 64GB. It also comes with a mini HDMI port. The Archos 101 XS also comes with a keyboard which attaches to the tablet magnetically. Not only does it serve as a keyboard, it also serves as a cover which fits the tablet if its faced down on to the keyboard.
Toshiba Satellite U920T
A new ultra book from Toshiba comes with a convertible sliding keyboard, which can easily transform from a tablet to a laptop and runs on Windows 8. It features a 12.5-inch IPS touch display (means you can use up to 5 fingers) with a 1366×768 resolution. You can have the choice between a Core i3 and i5. It also comes with a 256GB SSD for its main drive and up to 8GB DDR3 of RAM. Other features include, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, HDMI port, compass, gyroscope and ambient light sensor.
LG Optimus L9
The LG Optimus L9 is a mid-range smartphone which features a 4.7-inch qHD IPS display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 5MP camera and 4GB built in storage, it also has 1GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich that is has LG’s customized User Interface.
