Samsung MD of mobile Simon Stanford recently quoted that the smart phones sales have risen up all the bars and have quadruples in last few months.
The Phone Company’s Managing director also claims that they have achieved by far from their manufacturer rivals for handset sales and came way up from their competitors like Nokia.
In a recent interview Samsung UK managing director of mobile Simon Stanford told to a news agency that Samsung is one of the every four handsets sold in Uk mobile market, and hence this giant Korean mobile company is experiencing one of the best times ever in its UK market history.
Stanford came along with Samsung in the year 2009 and he told that soon after joining he made his goal to become one of the largest mobile manufacturers for UK mobile market and targeted Nokia as the main rival company, the Rival company name was clearly mentioned in the interview as “Nokia”
If we take a look at the latest figures from the Gfk, Samsung definitely has captured around 25 percent of the Uk mobile market in just few years. Leaving once ruling phone giants like Nokia and Motorola at mere 15 percent of market share.
On R&D investment Samsung has completely performed much better than its rival companies using the strategy of investing more in research and development thus reaching to all segments of market and fulfilling requirements by manufacturing with different models for different needs , their strategy to work closely with reseller partners to get better in store experience has helped them a lot in gaining success. That eventually makes “Samsung” a symbol of affordability and quality.
Not only symbian , Samsung has also done very well in android market , and not it is the fourth largest Android brand after BlackBerry, Apple and HTC.
