        A revised quote is sent due to the handset not meeting our terms and conditions. This would be due to a handset that was found to be faulty but was sent in as working, or if a handset had excessive wear and tear. An email was also sent regarding the revised quote and also states the reasons for the revised offer.

        We would require you to “accept or reject” the new quote within 3 days from when the original email was sent. If we do not receive a response within 3 days the new quote will be automatically processed.

        All standard orders are made on the 10th working day from when we receive the handset. “Same day” orders are paid on the same day the handset is received if the handset is tested before 3:30pm. If the handset is tested after 3:30pm the payment will made the following working day.         All payments are made throughout the day so if your payment is due today and you have not yet received confirmation of your payment, please allow until the end of the day to receive your payment.

        If your payment due date has passed and you have not yet received your payment, it could be due to incorrect account detail or an invalid PayPal account.

        You may have received a lower payment due to the following reasons:

        • PayPal fee
        • Revised quote due to the handset not meeting our terms and conditions
        If you selected the PayPal option to receive your payment, PayPal may take a small fee of 2-4% of the total payment made. This is part of PayPal’s terms and conditions and is usually taken from all transactions made via PayPal and is out of our control. We cannot send PayPal payments using any other method apart from a “goods” payment.

        You may have received a lower amount due to the handset not meeting our terms and conditions. This would be due to a handset that was found to be faulty but was sent in as working, or if a handset had excessive wear and tear. On this occasion you would have received an email and a text message regarding the new price for the phone(s). We required the customer to respond within 3 days from when the original email was sent with “accept or reject”. After three days the new quote would have been automatically accepted.

        The same day price is a manual process and therefore incurs higher costs. The price for the same day handsets takes this cost into account. We are currently working on making all payments on the same day at a higher price.

        We can send back any handset if you have sent it in and have changed your mind. However we can only return the handset during the “cooling off” period. The cooling off period is from when the order is first created, when the handset has been fully tested and a price has been agreed.

        Once we confirm the receipt of your handset, you will be notified via email. Please ensure you check your junk mail in case the emails have been filtered out.

        If you send the handset via our free post envelopes, it can take a maximum of one week for the handsets to arrive at our warehouse. If you sent the handset via a recorded delivery service and the delivery has been confirmed, the handset is currently being processed through our system and you will receive a confirmation shortly.

        Please note that the handset can take up to 24 hours to be processed onto our system from the time of receipt.

        Once the handset is tested you will be notified via email. The handset is usually tested within one hour of the received time. Please ensure you check you junk mail.

        Your handset has been tested however it did not meet our terms and conditions. The reason for this is because the handset has been found to be faulty or has excessive wear and tear.

        An email and text message was sent to you regarding this and a new price was also issued for the phone(s). The email will state the specific phone if is regarding, the new price and the reason for the revised quote. We would require you to respond to this email or text with either “accept or reject” within 3 working days. If we do not receive a response within 3 working days the new price will automatically be accepted.

        If your device is received after 14 days, we will offer you the latest price on the website if it is lower than the original price.

        Your order will be automatically cancelled after 30 days if we do not receive your handset(s). We would require you to create a new order once an order in cancelled.

        All we require you to send in is the phone and battery. We don’t require any accessories such as chargers, boxes, SIM cards or memory cards.

        If you would like to recycle any accessories, you can send them in, however they will not increase the value for the order. We cannot return any accessories on any occasion as they are processed or disposed of upon receipt.

        The maximum number of phone per order is currently 10 phones. You can simply create a second order for any extra handsets.         We have two payment options:

        Option one: Same day payment which is paid on the same day we receive your handset however the payment is a little less. (Ideal for customers who want quick cash)

        Option Two: Standard payment which is paid on the 10th working day from when we receive your handset, however we can issue a much higher price for your phone. (Ideal for customers who don’t mind the wait)

        Unfortunately the highest price we can issue for a handset is the “working price”. However you can compare our prices with other recyclers and will see that we offer the highest prices for most of the handsets.

        We offer two payment options; PayPal and BACs. Both payments will be issued on the 10th working day for standard orders and on the same day we receive your handset for “same day” orders. We also offer payments for charity. You can send a percentage of your payment to your chosen charity during the order process. We do not send cheques or vouchers.

        We accept all phones as long as they work with at least one UK network. Unfortunately any handsets that are locked to foreign networks will only receive the “non-working” price.

        The freepost envelope will be dispatched the next working from when you create an order. Freepost envelopes should take no longer than one week to arrive.

        The freepost service is available to all customers. You will have the option to select a freepost envelope during the order process. However the freepost service is uninsured and we would highly recommend you to send any high value handsets in using a recorded delivery service.

        During the testing process you may be offered a lower revised quote if your handset has any major cosmetic damage or is classed as faulty. We will notify you via email, text message and a phone call. All customers will have the option to either “accept” the new price or “reject” the quote and have the handset returned free of charge.

        However we would require a response from the customer within 3 days from when the original email is sent. If we don’t receive a reply after 3 days the new quote will automatically be processed and we will not be able to return the phone.
